Privacy Policy

MFL Fantasy is an independent fan project. This page explains what data we collect and why.

2. What Data We Process
Wallet address: To use MFL Fantasy you connect a Flow wallet via Dapper (FCL), which sends your public wallet address to Dapper/Flow for signature verification -- we use that address as your account identifier. We store your squad, transfers, chip usage, and display name. We do not collect: Your email address, real name, payment data, or private keys.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
Processing occurs to provide the app's core functionality (squad management, scoring) under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance / pre-contractual measures). Analytics only runs after you actively consent to it in the cookie banner, under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4. Recipients / Third Parties
Match schedules and player data are fetched independently via scheduled background jobs directly from MFL's API -- your wallet address or account activity is never transmitted to MFL as part of this. Dapper/Flow processes your wallet address for login (see above). We use the following service providers as processors / hosting infrastructure: Vercel Inc. (website hosting, and, with your consent, Analytics & Speed Insights) and Render (background jobs and database hosting). We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) to remember your cookie consent choice. Separately, a necessary HTTP session cookie keeps you signed in after connecting your wallet -- this cookie is required for the app to function and is not part of the optional analytics category.
6. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights)
With your consent, we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see anonymous, aggregated usage and performance data (e.g. page views, load times). These services set no cookies and collect no personal data or individual usage history. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer.
7. Retention Period
Your squad, transfers, and account data are retained indefinitely until manually deleted. Contact us via Discord or X if you want your data removed. Vercel Analytics/Speed Insights don't store any data that can be linked back to you -- only anonymous, aggregate statistics. Individual deletion is therefore neither necessary nor technically possible.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, as well as to object to its processing. Contact us via Discord or X (see above) to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. No Affiliation with MFL or Dapper Labs
MFL Fantasy is an independent, unofficial fan project. MFL's, Dapper Labs', or your wallet provider's own privacy policies apply to their respective processing of your data.
